Who We Are
The Gathering is a multi-parish, Catholic youth ministry serving teens in middle and high school.
Our Mission
The Gathering name comes from the second chapter in the Book of Acts where the Apostles receive the Holy Spirit on the original day of Pentecost. This passage has become the cornerstone of our ministry. To gather teens in one place and be filled with the Holy Spirit to live the life of Christ.
History
The Gathering was founded in 1985 by Bob Schrimpf who faithfully lead and served this ministry for over thirty years. Originally at Mary Star of the Sea, the Gathering has continued to serve teens and develop leaders at several other SD parishes.
Where We Serve
The Gathering is a multi-parish ministry currently serving at two local SD parishes: St. Charles Borromeo and St. Agnes.
